[SAGE] shipping rack servers

We need to transfer various rack servers (mostly 1u or 2u) from one data
center to another. This is a one time move.

Our DC charges expensive fees for doing this however. So we have the
following options:

    - pay DC to do this (costly, but they are experienced)

    - buy our own rack-cabinet style "shipping containers" -- they look
      like the normal 4-post rack cabinets, but they are designed for
      shipping, you stick your servers in and give it to the moving
      company (this is doable, but costs approximately US$1200 per
      cabinet, and we would need several, and we would never use them
      again after this move).

    - buy cardboard boxes and styrofoam and pack them like dell servers
      and ship via moving company

Does anyone have any experience with something similar and have advice
to offer?
